    Progression of work

    We will now start working on new specifications:

    1. Rules for how to structure "study programs" by referencing to different MLO-AD objects The goal is to only do minor changes to the MLO spec, and develop an independent specification for how to express different "study programs" and the variety of rules that could apply when a study program is specified. The plan is that this specification should reference existing MLO objects. This way of describing rules, structures and combinations should also have the capacity to be used with assessment and qualifications among other relevant specifications.
    2. How to express assessments, different assessment strategies, assessment outcomes and the assessment process. This specification should follow the MLO-AD principles.

    Hi - this is Linda Feng of Oracle.  As one of the co-chairs of the IMS Enterprise Services v2 Project Group, I like the approach you have taken with this MLO project and would like to offer help and support as appropriate.  The IMS ESv2 group is adding a Course Mgmt service to the Enterprise Services spec.   It would be great to include a mapping from the new IMS Course Mgmt service as part of the current mapping exercise which you are undertaking.
