- The content collection process can start, Spider is almost ready to be up
- The NORDLET spider widget should be included on the Nordlet web
- Many repositories can be included: Audrone reported that some ideas can be provied and presented in November; Tore reporting on http://ndla.no for secondary schools; Sirje and Christian reporting on national initiatives which could be included
- Several regional events are planned: Denmark postponed to 2010; Estonia planned with newly arriving students; Lithuania on 20.11.2009, broadcasted to the consortium; Latvia on 23.11.
- Tore introduced potentias of the Flashmeeting as a simple tool to create recordings
Key actions from the Umeå meeting 2009-09-18
Key ideas:
- Proving an easy to use mechanism for content collection (widgets) and populating this by providing links to main repositories from our countries (by mid-October) - looking for good practises from our countries.
- Running one regional event (also including virtual meetings) in this year
- Continuation of the planning in an internal flashmeeting between Oct 16-22

We are now working very hard with the NORDPLUS proposal. A draft to be finished by the end of Week 9.
Minutes telconf Feb 15 - attendees: Tore, Christian, Peter and Erlend.
- Venue
- Peter: Could you take a lead here, starting with finding out the possibilities to have the conference in Stockholm in Feb 2009.
- I have made to enquiries, the first one to the teacher training institute (i.e. Stockholm University) which has good premisies situated whithin almost walking distans from the cental station in Stockholm. Still no answer from them. I have also checked out a conference venue which is very close to the central station. They have openings in February 2009 and dependig on the number of participants the cost for one day is from 42 000 SKR for the congresshall and then about 5-15 000 per additional seminarroom.
- Peter: Could you take a lead here, starting with finding out the possibilities to have the conference in Stockholm in Feb 2009.

Agenda/actions:
- The symposium
- Venue for symposium
- Two criteria: (1) "Centrality" (easy to reach, being the first conference); (2) Support by host institution. Three alternatives: Oslo, Stockholm and (Copenhagen). Tore/Erlend survey the possibilities in Oslo; Peter in Stockholm
- Status Scientific Committee
- We have a strong SC that should guarantee scientific quality of the process. The memeber will be added to a e-mail list and kept up to date of the development of the NordLET initiative.
- ICT system for handling paper submission, review etc
- Ideas for systems are welcome. Tore finds out if the system used for a number of conferences, hosted by the Greec ASK unit, would be a possibility.
- Venue for symposium
The conference will be from lunch to lunch. Beginning of February seems to be a good time of the year.

- We need a vision that summarises the NordLET idea. Be careful with the "standards perspective". Jan and Christian come up with a proposal (see draft from Jan)

- Add vision og punchline. Read and suggest improvements! The site will be kept as a single, static page for the time being. When needes we could install a CMS med forums, etc.
- Report system for national activities
- The wiki will be set ut for each member to report national activities
- OBS! Find and report e-mail lists and other distribution channels, key people, and ideas that could be used for marketing
- Motivational text to supplement the call
- We need pamphlets and templates for e-mails. We also need a logo!

- Who is main coordinator (negotiating with the Nordplus administration)

- Our initiative and application will be strenghtened by adding a Baltic dimension. We all go through our contacts and come up with ideas of whom to contact.
