Short report from JTC1:

SWG’s are not allowed to produce ISO documents. It was a mistake from the JTC1 secretariat that the ISO/IEC TR 29138 was allowed to be produced from SWG-A.
It would also be problematic for SWG-A to produce a revised version of the TR, or to do amendments.
The SWG-A now have to decide what to do when they are not allowed to produce documents.

New catagorisation

Jim gave a short presentation of his proposed reorganisation of the report.
When a Category have more than «a magic number +/-2» of items it is prime for reorganisation.
Erlend agreed to provide a MindMap for everyone to look into reorganisation of issues, and provide this in editable/viewable formats for everyone to contribute.
We anticipate that new «user needs» will be identified when we do this exercise.

Next meeting

Since December is a busy month we agree to postpone the next meeting until January 2011.
