| The ESOs are invited to further develop European standards and supporting activities for e-learning by strengthening stakeholder participation (e.g., industry, Higher Education, schools, learners) and by ensuring that European requirements are properly addressed by standards activities in both national and global Standards Setting Organisations. The value of informal consortia and community grass-roots specification efforts that support interoperability should be recognised as an important input to these activities. It should also be recognised the value of adopting and investigating the potential standards, specifications, and interoperability mechanisms from other sectors. |
